Lamb on the spit


Lamb meat is one of the imperatives of many national cuisines. It can be prepared in a number of great ways, and is always a true delicacy. Still, the unmatched pleasure of lamb meat is the simplest – and for which you need only one ingredient – salt – and with which the simplest salad is served – chopped onions – is lamb on the spit.

Along the roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina you will often find restaurants that offer the lamb on the spit. The most famous region in Bosnia and Herzegovina for this specialty is the Jablanica region. All passengers who are travelling to the south know that there is no better place to stop and relax in the fresh air and enjoy the lamb, which eventually has become a brand of the Jablanica region.
